Adding Sub-Contracts

  1. Navigate to a module or station.
  2. Find the sub-contracts grid (displayed within the module or station detail view).
  3. Click Add Row in the grid toolbar.
  4. Select the Sub-Contractor from the dropdown (type to search).
  5. Select the Process if applicable.
  6. Enter the Units Required and Item Price.
  7. Add a Description.
  8. Set the Markup % as needed.
  9. Click Save to persist the changes.

Include On Proposal / Show As Process

The Include On Proposal checkbox controls whether the sub-contract cost feeds into the proposal’s financial totals. You might untick this to keep a record of a potential sub-contract without affecting the overall costing.

The Show As Process checkbox determines how the sub-contract is presented. When ticked, the sub-contract appears alongside processes in labour views, which is useful when comparing internal vs. external costs for the same type of work.

Editing and Deleting Sub-Contracts

The sub-contracts grid uses batch editing:

  • Click any editable cell to modify its value.
  • Delete rows by selecting them and pressing the delete key.
  • Click Save to confirm all changes, or Undo Changes to revert.
