Sales Orders

Sales Order Items allow you to define the line items that form the commercial offer to the customer. These items link back to the proposal structure (modules and stations) and determine how the proposal is presented in financial documents and sales orders.


Sales Order Items Grid

This grid is accessed via the Sales Order Items tab at the proposal level. It uses batch editing.


Grid Columns

Country of OriginYesNoThe country where the goods originate from.
Commodity CodeYesNoThe commodity/tariff code for customs classification.
Com Code DescriptionNoThe description of the commodity code.
MassYesNoThe mass/weight of the item (used for customs documentation).

Edited By / Edited OnNoAudit fields showing who last modified the row and when.


Summary Row

The grid footer shows the Total Amount across all sales order items.


Adding Sales Order Items

  1. Go to the Sales Order Items tab.
  2. Click Add Row in the grid toolbar.
  3. Select a Sales Order from the dropdown (if applicable).
  4. Select the relevant Module and optionally the Station.
  5. Enter the Text and Amount.
  6. Click Save.


Reordering Items

Sales order items can be reordered using drag and drop:

  1. Click and hold the drag handle on the left side of a row.
  2. Drag the row to its new position.
  3. Release to drop it in place.
  4. The order is automatically saved.


Editing and Deleting

The grid uses batch editing:

  • Click any editable cell to modify it.
  • Delete rows by selecting them and pressing the delete key.
  • Click Save to confirm all changes, or Undo Changes to revert.


Note: Any sales order items not linked to a sales order when the proposal is converted to a project will be linked to an automatically created sales order.
