Introduction
Unlike most ERP systems, Integro does not require users to create and maintain a master catalogue of parts. Instead, Integro uses a combination of BoM and Purchase Order analysis to harvest information to create and maintain the database of parts.
The primary source for the Integro Master Part library is the Bill of Materials which Integro creates by interfacing with the CAD software used by the business.
How Master Parts are created from the BoM
Bespoke or Generic parts
Bespoke Parts These parts are newly created bespoke parts and are made from raw material and are not sold by or contained in the catalogue of any manufacturer.
Generic Parts These parts can are not specific to any single manufacturer, examples of these parts are fasteners, M10 bolts, etc. When you create a category for these parts in Integro you should indicate that it is a Generic Part category.
