Introduction to Internal Change Requests

Modified on Tue, 15 Oct, 2024 at 1:52 PM

Overview

An internal change request is a process for requesting alterations to a previously approved budget. These changes might be necessary for various reasons.

The Project Manager or Team Lead can edit the Estimated-to-Completion figure for the relevant project process. This will then indicate if an ICR needs to be raised for the project.

Estimated to Completion

This is the number of hours it is estimated to complete the process.

ICR Requirement

The ICR requirement is the number of hours that the budget needs to be amended by.

It is the Actual Hours + ETC Hours - Allocated Hours + ICR Hours to date.

e.g.

Actual Hours = 100

ETC Hours = 50

Allocated Hours = 110

ICR Hours to date = 15

ICR Requirement = 100 + 50 - (110 + 15) = 150 - 125 = 25.
